How can exhibitions from different regions (Soutwest Asia, North Africa and beyond) counteract stereotypes? Rather than criticizing stereot ypical exhibitions- especially of the arts of Southwest Asian and North Africa – we want to exchange ideas: A group of international museum experts and researchers are meeting in Regensburg to do just that. Ideas will be presented in 180-second sessions to get everyone interested talking, and you are welcome to join in, ask questions and participate in the discussion.

The event will be held in English. Registration is not necessary. The workshop is sponsored by the Hans Vielberth University Foundation. The event inself is organized by the „Professur Historische Bildwissenschaften/Institut für Kunstgeschichte“ at University of Regensburg.
