Forró ist ein brasilianischer lebensfroher Paartanz und Musikstil, der die Menschen auf eine kleine Reise ins weltoffene Brasilien einlädt. Hier tanzen Alle mit Allen und schätzen die besondere Beziehung, die beim Tanzen in der gemeinsamen Verbindung zur Musik immer wieder neu entsteht. Beim Forró geht es um eine Begegnung auf Augenhöhe und die Achtsamkeit zu deine*r Tanzpartner*in. Die Verbindung ist wichtiger, als beim Tanzen eine „besonders gute Figur“ zu machen. Die Veranstaltenden laden herzlich zu einem Schnupperkurs mit inhaltlicher Einführung ein.

Im Anschluss findet freies Tanzen statt, sowie die Möglichkeit zu einem gemütlichen Ausklang und Austausch rund um Forró.

Mitzubringen sind bequeme Kleidung. Es ist kein*e feste Tanzpartner*in erforderlich.

Forró is a lively Brazilian couple dance and music style that invites people on a little journey to cosmopolitan Brazil. Here, everyone dances with everyone else and appreciates the special relationship that is constantly being renewed through dancing in shared connection with the music. Forró is about meeting on equal terms and being mindful of your dance partner. The connection is more important than looking “particularly good” while dancing. The organizers cordially invite you to a taster course with an introduction to the content.

Afterwards, there will be free dancing, as well as the opportunity to relax and chat about forró.

Please bring comfortable clothing. A regular dance partner is not required.
